Overview

Now that products have been enabled for your BigCommerce integration, it's important to know what product information can be changed. This article will tell you what about your products can and cannot be safely edited.

Safe Changes

The integration populates some of the product fields in BigCommerce with information from your POS system. The following fields can be safely changed in BigCommerce:

  1. Visibility

  2. Product Name

  3. Product Type

  4. Brand

  5. Weight

Additionally, you can safely add images to new products.

Unsafe Changes

The following can not be changed safely:

  • Price

  • Product SKU
